![]() Mystic Enchants can be found on items dropped by monsters at random or by consuming Mystic Runes (or gold) to re-randomize the current enchant on a piece of equipment. They are the main way to define your character's fighting style and utility outside of the abilities and talents you pick. Mystic Enchants, sometimes called Random Enchants (or "RE's" for short) are used to increase the overall power, durability and utility of your character. Currently there are no mini Seasons in progress.īeyond WoW's core mechanics Ascension is built on, it has Ascension-exclusive gameplay mechanics to enable the Classless playstyle and enable new ways to play the game. Mini Seasons have begun on occasion, which usually include a brand new server which is up for a more limited amount of time. While Area 52 and Al'ar are Ascension's current main servers, and where we recommend you start, you can acquire access to other servers currently in the Alpha phase: Conquest of Azeroth, and Grizzly Hills, our Wrath of the Lich King server. Seasonal Servers are always a clean slate: this means everyone starts at level 1, collections tabs from Legacy do not transfer over, and all Server First Achievements are reset and ready to be earned by heroes ready to compete for them. Players are able to compete for Server firsts and earn exclusive rewards that transfer with their seasonal character to the legacy realms at the end of the server. Seasonal Servers on Ascension are fresh start realms that typically feature a unique game mode or new features and progress until the seasonal realm is 1 tier behind Legacy Server content. Do you accept the challenge of creating your hero under the luck of the draw? You'll be surrounded by heroes that are all more unique and interesting than the last. You can browse the Hero Architect for inspiration, but you will have to work with what you're given. Create a character here if you want the excitement and emergent gameplay from picking your abilities from groups of randomly selected ones. Like Area 52, many new players are creating characters here every day. It is its current Seasonal Server ( Season 7). Create your character here if you want the freedom of Free-Pick: pick and choose any ability and talents you want, from any classes, combined with Mystic Enchants to form your absolutely unique hero! You can use the Hero Architect for inspiration on builds, or to use somebody else's build if you want to play a unique build without putting all the pieces together.Īl'ar is Ascension's Draft server. It is its longest-running server, with new players starting on it every single day. Learn more about all of Ascension's features here.Īrea 52 is Ascension's Free-Pick server. Project Ascension servers are currently in Burning Crusade on Season 7. Project Ascension Classless has features like: This is World of Warcraft done your own way.Īscension is currently in The Burning Crusade expansion using the Wrath of the Lich King Spells and Talents on the 3.3.5 WoW Client.Ĭrafted by a professional full-time indie dev-team, Project Ascension is the premier custom WoW mod with fast dedicated servers, 24/7 Support, a dedicated Balance team and Quality Assurance team. You can pick from any of the existing spells and talents from all classes, and play through the best WoW expansions: Vanilla, Burning Crusade (Current), and Wrath of the Lich King. Some don't stack - check this list before you get carried away.Ascension is a Classless World of Warcraft Mod with over a million players since 2016. Blessing of Kings is great, but everyone and their dog has it - so you could probably skip it for group content. Also, Mage's Evocation scales with your mana pool, but Druid's Innervate doesn't. And while you can't dual wield two staffs using Warrior's Titan's Grip, you can use a staff in mainhand and any other weapon in your offhand.Īs an Intel build, Aspect of the Viper is wonderful - the passive regen really stacks up. ![]() That can take a while to farm materials for.Īnother thing to remember is the Shaman Flametongue Weapon buff - the passive spell damage from dual wielding with it on both weapons may be a better option than any low level staff. ![]() Spirit has similar options btw, but Spirit builds rely on the Random Enchant system. The spell damage talents (most have been changed to separate it from +healing so we don't get too OP) from Intel aren't really that great, all have been nerfed to give about 10% for 3 points. Pay close attention to the wording on other talents - some only affect melee or ranged, or even just a specific spell school or tree. ![]() I don't bother with the 2% ones (though Survival Of The Fittest giving 2% to every stat is well worth it too) There are also a few 3% per point talents scattered between other classes. Don't forget the Feral Druid talent Heart Of The Wild - 4% intel per point is the biggest bang for your buck. Stacking Intel is definitely a good choice.
